This old world Italy inspired custom home took to conception with aspirations of being reminiscent the hillside landscapes of Tuscany. From its location on the foothills of the Frio Canyon in the Texas hill country to its stylings of open and covered verandas spread out over beautiful stone work trimmed with elegant wood trims throughout… this home only needs your Texas/Tuscan size gathering to do it justice!

Much thought went into the design of this home, which become apparent when walking through its vaulted rooms mirrored off of its exquisite smooth finished floor. Take rest in one of the many Bedrooms, which will ultimately sleep 22 of your multi-family or group of friends with ease… or finish up that last minute bit of business down in the stylish and peaceful study. There you’ll find open views of the award winning Concan Country Club’s golf course Fairway #2 through the large panes of your office doors, going out onto its private back porch. This same study boasts an admirable collection of popular classic books should you prefer to take solace in reading in a comfortable quiet place…… in fact if you like it that much, you can opt to claim it as your room for the duration of the stay, as it also has a discrete Murphy Bed built in to the surrounding built-in wood work that fills the room.

If fun in the sun and games are more your speed, you no doubt will thoroughly love the large spaces upstairs above the pool with rooms that step out onto a beautiful open porch with arbor that begs to be lounged on! From here you can truly take in God’s canvas, and witness some amazing sunrises and make memories of some breathtaking star gazing moments. Views here by day also bring a clear layout over the Green of Hole #2. Inside the same space upstairs, as well as throughout the home, you’ll find new flat screen TVs ready to get you caught up on some movie watching or plugging you in to the big game that’s on. Upstairs you can’t miss the large, custom billiard table that’s sure to keep the skills of even the best pool shark sharp….. pool table that is! There are no sharks in the pool below! In fact we hope that you will enjoy the majority of your stay soaking in the rays and taking in the picturesque scenery of the beautiful landscape here in Concan from sitting down around the inviting blue waters. Not only from the home but from the famous Frio River as well!

Once ready for a little re-charge come back in and get lost in preparing something amazing in the large gourmet kitchen. Trimmed out elegantly and equipped with new state-of-the-art appliances, to the right person this could easily become your favorite room in the home! It has plenty of prep space and is fully furnished for almost anything you could need to make sure your cuisine is taken care of. Fix your plate on come gather together at this huge, one of a kind slab table with raw, natural edges. It truly fits the large family gathering practices for the traditional Italian family and Texas sized families alike.

You’ll be located just off the main drag, as It’s in the Heart of Concan. Merely turning onto River Road at the House Pasture Steak House, the hottest concert spot in Uvalde County, it’s just under a mile to the River where we provide river parking at the two most popular Frio River crossings in Concan.

If you haven’t become to immersed in: tubing/kayaking and swimming in the crystal clear waters of the spring fed Frio river, golfing, running, hiking, bicycling or cruising your motorcycle. Hunting and fishing are always huge here in the Frio, Nueces and Sabinal Canyons. Dining out, BBQ-ing in, playing family games like horse shoes and washers, or maybe napping in a hammock….. then maybe you could allot a day for the few extra miles to get you into the unique Garner State Park or Lost Maples. You may also enjoy the various type of wildlife around the area of the home. Axis and whitetail deer, raccoons, ringtails, opossums, skunk, porcupines, foxes, bobcats, turkey, roadrunners, javelina, armadillo, rabbits and all types of birds etc.
